CITRULLINE MALATE (2:1)
INCREASES BLOOD FLOW • IMPROVES PERFORMANCE
L-Citrulline is a precursor to nitric oxide production, which stimulates vasodilation and increases blood flow to working muscles. This amino acid helps deliver nutrients to, and waste removal from, muscle cells. ALTRD State provides citrulline malate in a 2:1 ratio, which is the enhanced version shown in research to help athletes perform at higher intensities. PERFECT Sports chose fermented Citrulline Malate 2:1 because it exists in the ionically-bound state that not only enhances solubility within the body, but as a result increases bioavailability. Malate on its own has performance benefits owing to its ability to take part in the TCA, or Krebs Cycle that is critical to biological energy production.
BETA-ALANINE

This amino acid combines with histidine (another amino acid) in the body to increase carnosine levels and with the massive level of histidine that exists in the body, Beta-Alanine is the optimal choice for boosting intra-muscular carnosine levels. Carnosine reduces muscular acidifcation by buffering hydrogen ions, which build up during exercise and lead to muscular fatigue too quickly. Taurine acts as an osmolyte in muscle cells. Osmolytes draw water into the muscle, which increases cell volumization, muscle fullness and sends a signal to initiate the recovery process. In addition, taurine has also been shown by research to have both cytoprotective and anti-inflammatory properties. This increase in intracellular water also helps the cell maintain proper hydration during training, which is critical for performance. Within the ALTRD State pre-workout formula, taurine plays the role of providing a substantial “pump” amplifier that works in conjunction with other ingredients like Citrulline Malate 2:1 and Agmatine Sulfate. While each plays a unique physiological role, the result of increased muscle pump is achieved.
AGMATINE SULFATE

Agmatine Sulfate acts on blood vessel dilation in a unique way, it acts as a modulator of nitric oxide. The way it does this is by affecting endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS). Bodybuilders, Physique Athletes and Performance Athletes have long prized agmatine because of its purported ability to produce powerful muscle pumps and that the effect is long lasting. Research has also pointed to its ability to act as a neurotransmitter, which sends information to the central nervous system, and helps with memory formation. Agmatine has also been shown to reduce anxiety, enhance brain function and decrease stress. Like a number of synergistic ingredients within ALTRD State agmatine plays two synergistic roles; with citrulline malate and taurine it generates skin-stretching pumps and with ALCAR and Higenamine it has a mind-boosting nootropic effect to increase mental focus.
L-TYROSINE

Tyrosine serves as a precursor to the production of two neurotransmitters that are part of the “fight or flight” response that helps to drive up energy levels. Tyrosine has also been shown to increase mental focus and reduce the effects of fatigue. In ALTRD State, tyrosine has been included to increase focus and alertness and anyone familiar with top-level professional grade pre-workouts will know that high-levels of this key amino acid mark that formula as superior. Because tyrosine acts as a key substrate for the production other neurotransmitters, it is an important factor for the state of high cognitive performance and mental focus users report with ALTRD State.
ACETYL-L-CARNITINE (ALCAR)
THERMOGENIC • BRAIN FUEL • BRAIN PROTECTANT
Unlike other forms of carnitine, Acetyl-L-Carnitine is able to cross the blood-brain barrier. ALCAR works to improve the brain’s ability to metabolize and utilize energy, while also showing protective effects against neurotoxicity and oxidative stress. ALCAR is highly bioavailable and provides carnitine to cells. Cells can then use carnitine to assist in the transport of Long Chain Fatty Acids (LCFA) into the mitochondria. This allows the mitochondria within cells to oxidize (burn) fatty acids with less limitation than without. Physiologically, this is experienced by the ALTRD State user as increased heat production. With its pronounced effect on the function of the brain, ALCAR also provides a specific and unique benefit as a nootropic contributing to overall brain health and mental energy.

DMAE supports acetylcholine production, a neurotransmitter, which helps increase mental alertness and improves mood. Acetylcholine is considered to be one of the most important brain nutrients. It is a neurotransmitter that contributes to the sensation of being focused. It has also been shown in research to be an important component of memory formation.

Caffeine stimulates important neurotransmitter release. Both of the neurotransmitters released prepare the body for the hard-training session to come. Caffeine also has been shown to increase mental focus and performance. At higher levels, research has shown that caffeine also triggers the release of stored fat (in the form of fatty acids) that are broken down and used for energy and heat production. Within ALTRD State this plays a dual role, one being the effect CNS leading to the feeling of being energized and the second being the facilitation of the increased oxidation of the fat cells that are broken down and released into the blood stream at an enhanced rate. This produces the potential to maximize the intended effect of increased training intensity and the increased release of stored fat. ALTRD State features three different sources of caffeine. Each one has a unique way of being metabolized by the body and through our development process, we continuously tweaked to levels to arrive at the ratio of each source to produce maximum benefit.

Also known as norcoclaurine, higenamine, is a compound found in plants such as, Nandina domestica (fruit) and Nelumbo nucifera (lotus seeds). Higenamine is classified as a beta-adrenergic agonist and has been shown to activate an enzyme, adenylate cyclase, which plays a major role in lipolysis (fat metabolizing).
GBB (GAMMA-BUTYROBETAINE) “SUPER CARNITINE”
SUPPORTS CARNITINE PRODUCTION • THERMOGENIC
A direct precursor to carnitine, GBB rapidly and exponentially increases the amount of this amino acid in the body. The increase has been shown to have a thermogenic effect and cause mild sweating. This can be best understood by referring to the effects described above for Acetyl-L-Carnitine. Only very small amounts of GBB are required to produce the increased levels of heat (and sweat) that ALTRD State test subjects consistently report. Sweat is a key milestone that people have used to measure how hard they worked out. ALTRD State takes that to a whole new level. This all-in-one pre-workout formula is the strongest pre-workout for more than one reason. The ALTRD State formula uses many different physiological triggers that result in a dramatically superior workout on several levels.
HUPERZIA SERRATA (HUPERZINE A)
INCREASES ALERTNESS • BRAIN PROTECTANT • IMPROVES MEMORY
The active ingredient in Toothed Clubmoss (l. huperzia serrata) is Huperzine A. This nootropic ingredient is able to cross the blood brain barrier (BBB) and has been shown to increase acetylcholine (similar to the way caffeine does – preventing the enzyme acetylcholinesterase (ACE) from clearing it) thereby boosting alertness and focus. It has been shown to have a protective effect on the brain and can improve memory formation. Huperzia serrata is the Latin name for Toothed Club Moss which is the substance from which Huperzine A is standardized to 1%. Unlike other formulas that have chosen synthetic Huperzine A alone, ALTRD State has the complete and full spectrum of Toothed Club Moss (Huperzia serrata) that other formulas do not. This means that ALTRD State has 100 times the amount of Huperzia serrata compared to Huperzine A in this formula to achieve this very high level of this powerful ingredient.
B VITAMINS (B3, B6, B9, & B12)
SUPPORTS ENERGY PRODUCTION
ALTRD State provides a full complex of B vitamins each in a highly-bioavailable form. B vitamins are widely known to support energy metabolism by interacting with cells to facilitate this release of energy. In order to get the level of quality of these therapeutic B vitamins, you would normally need to resort to more expensive brands. The B vitamins in ALTRD State are not what you will find in typical multi-vitamins. Within the ALTRD State formula, they are included at very high potencies and they are well known for their therapeutic benefits. Each of them has a broad base of research that can be accessed on the Internet, but suffice to say that you will be impressed by the caliber of these nutrients.
How should I store my ALTRD State?
Make sure that it’s very well sealed when you store it. Don’t store it in a warm area (such as near a vent, or above a stove or refrigerator that gives off heat). It is best to store it in a cool dry area, shake and rotate the bottle periodically. If you live in a particularly humid area, you can store ALTRD State in the freezer to reduce exposure to humidity.
What are best practices when using ALTRD State?
Shake and rotate ALTRD State before each use. Make sure that when you open it to use it, you close it quickly and tighten the lid. Do not leave it open on the counter when you are using it. The highly active ingredients in ALTRD State are sensitive to any moisture in the air. They attract moisture that is in the air rapidly and easily.
Can ALTRD State harden or become clumpy?
All pre-workout powders have this issue. The nature of the ingredients predisposes them to harden if exposed to moisture and/or heat. ALTRD State has been relatively free of this complaint, but if you follow the guidelines here, you can dramatically reduce the potential of any of these issues. If you do notice any issues with clumping, usually a good shake will loosen any powder. If that does not work, 24 hours in a standard freezer followed by vigorous shaking has been known to be an effective solution.

This is the best pre I have ever tried. I didn’t get too jittery, the flavor was nice without tasting artificial, and my training session was super focused and intense. I’ve used it for a few leg sessions, a push day and a few handstands/acro training days. I almost didn’t want to stop training, it’s that amazing! I’ll continue to keep reordering this! 😍

I absolutely LOVE this pre – workout! I haven’t tried the peach or the cherry yet, but the blue raz not only tasted amazing, but also had a great texture as well! As soon as I took it, I felt it kick in almost immediately!
I was able to stay focused and motivated throughout my workout, and the mind muscle connection was fantastic. I even found that I was able to have a great workout after a run of 5 night shifts that are each 12 hours. I usually find it challenging to lift heavy after that, but not with ALTRD.

I have tried this product in Blue Raspberry and Sour Cherry, and both taste fantastic!
More importantly , the formulation of this pre-workout is FANTASTIC! 1 scoop of this pre-workout has 400mg of caffeine! It provides vasodilation from citrulline malate and agmatine which means you get a PUMP! I also found that the L-Carnitine and Higenamine helped me stay focused for the entire duration of my workout.
Simply put, this pre-workout is FANTASTIC. It is an intense product that has helped me kick my workouts up a couple notches. I HIGHLY recommend this product!(0) (0) -

My favourite flavor is blue raspberry (taste like real blue raspberry) and mixes great ☺️This preworkout is intense !!! I was able to crush my workout, no jitters or crashing after taking. Highly recommend giving it a go ☺️ Won’t be disappointed !

Ive tried a lot of pre-workouts over the years.. and all I can say is WOW! I’ve never tried a product like this before. This product is truly unique… an all-in-one formula that combines everything you want during your workout.. focus, energy, pump, and fat-burning effects! The blue raspberry flavor is amazing… not overly sweet, no gritty sand texture either. I absolutely love ALTRD!

Definitely my new go to Pre Workout!
I tried the Peach Rings and the flavor was bang on. Tasted exactly like peach rings but not overpowering or too sweet and mixes super well!
As for my workouts, Perfect Sports definitely did an amazing job coming up with an “All In One” formula. It is exactly that! I really noticed how great my energy levels and focus were throughout my whole workout from the multiple sources of caffeine and nootropics. This pre workout also contains multiple ingredients to help with blood flow to your muscles so pump, endurance and strength were definitely levelled up. I noticed some sight itchiness at the beginning but it subsided relatively quickly and no jitters.
Will definitely be incorporating this pre workout into my routine! Can’t wait to try the other flavors!

I tried the Sour Cherry. It mixed very well and the taste was decent. I’m not a pre workout user, but I drink a lot of coffee and have a high caffine tolerance. I used a half scoop and didn’t have a huge energy boost. I did get a good pump and was able to stay laser focused on my workout. There were no jitters or tingles, but I definitely felt the thermo effects. I plan on using it for more workouts

The pre workout that just keeps on working, ALTRD State exceeded my expectations by a wide margin, giving me the best workouts I’ve had for many years. First, the natural, zero-chemical taste (Peach Rings) surpassed that of any other pre product I’ve tried to date. Second, the powerful effects (clearer thinking, greater focus, extreme pumps, more energy) were both immediate and long-lasting, extending well beyond the workout itself. Perhaps best of all, its highly-dose ingredients provided only positive feelings (more training aggression and a heightened sense of awareness and drive to conquer the weights) without the jitters and nausea that I tend to feel with other high-dose, top-end pre workout products. I had all kinds of focus, clarity and energy that I never had previous to taking ALTRD and I only took 1/8 of a scoop! My husband took 1/4 scoop and had to workout twice in the same day. Even after all that, he persuaded me to play Just Dance with him on our PlayStation late at night because he was still feeling the effects and couldn’t sit still. Very impressed with these initial results and will continue to use!
